Welcome to Ivonbrook

Ivonbrook Care Home is a purpose-built care home constructed in 1995 in its own grounds on the edge of Ivonbrook Woods near Darley Bridge.

Each room has its own wash basin, and some have en-suite bathroom facilities.

Ivonbrook Care Home features a Spa Bathroom, wet room and two regular bathrooms. There is also a dedicated hairdressing salon, on-site laundry room, a faith room/library and a sensory room.

Residents enjoy regular visits from wild deer that roam the grounds and can be seen grazing in our wheel chair friendly grounds.

The homes are split into three living spaces: – Cromford Close Care, Wensley Square & Pinewood Lounge.

Convenience

All rooms feature wash basins and many also offer en-suite facilities allowing residents to maintain their dignity and independence.

Location

Almost all of our rooms come with an incredible view as standard, with many of them looking onto our fields which are regularly the home of grazing deer.

On-site Kitchen

Our well-fitted kitchen caters for our residents throughout the whole day - cooking to request as well as providing freshly prepared hot meals at set times.

Furnished rooms

Specialist furniture packaged in a home-like form factor provides convenience, independence and safety for our residents, with access to internet, Smart TVs and iPads to help residents stay connected with loved ones.

Spa Bath

Enjoy hydrotherapy with our Spa Bath, designed to alleviate soreness and sooth aches and pains.

Wheel Chair Accessible

Both our home and its grounds are wheelchair accessible, allowing residents to explore the surrounding and move around the home independently.

Social Spaces

The home has multiple lounges and dining rooms, each fitted with means for entertainment, comfy chairs and supervised by our Carers.

Safe & Secure

While residents with capacity to maintain their own safety may come and go as they wish, we have key-coded doors to prevent unauthorised persons entering the home.

Our Care

Ivonbrook is registered by the CQC (Care Quality Commission) for the provision of personal care to adults aged over 65 and accommodates both local authority and privately funded residents who do not require nursing care. People who have sensory impairment and/or limited physical disabilities and/or dementia can also be accommodated. Most placements are for planned long-term care but respite care can sometimes be offered.

The services provided at the Home are monitored, inspected and regulated
by the Care Quality Commission. Ivonbrook’s registration details and CQC inspection reports can be viewed on the CQC’s website. The home’s most recent CQC report is displayed in corridor to the right of the main entrance lobby.
