Grove House, located in the picturesque village of Ashover, Derbyshire, is a beautifully restored stone-built care home offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
With stunning views of the surrounding countryside, the home combines traditional charm with modern comfort. Residents enjoy personalized care, engaging activities, and tranquil outdoor spaces, creating a supportive environment where they can thrive and feel at home.
Rooms have either a wash basin or an en-suite bathroom and share fantastic views of the surrounding hillsides.

All rooms feature washbasins and many also offer en-suite facilities allowing residents to maintain their dignity and independence.

Ashover has a fantastic close community, to which we are very lucky to be a part of. There are lots of local events for our residents to engage with.

Our well-fitted kitchen caters for our residents throughout the whole day - cooking to request as well as providing freshly-prepared hot meals at set times.

Specialist furniture packaged in a home-like form factor provides convenience, independence and safety for our residents, with access to internet, Smart TVs and iPads to help residents stay connected with loved ones.

Our modern and spacious on-site hairdressers, provide the residents with an opportunity to enjoy a relaxing pamper .
Wheel Chair Accessible
All our home and their grounds are wheelchair accessible, allowing residents to explore the surrounding and move around the home independently.
Social Spaces
Our multiple cosy lounges are open to residents all day. With tea and coffee facilities, live singers, comfortable chairs and floor-to-ceiling windows.
Safe & Secure
While residents with capacity to maintain their own safety may come and go as they wish, we have key-coded doors to prevent unauthorised persons entering the home.

Care at Grove House
Darley Hall is registered by the CQC (Care Quality Commission) for the provision of personal care to adults
aged over 65 years and accommodates both local authority and privately-funded residents who do not require nursing care.
People who have sensory impairment and/or limited physical disabilities and/or dementia can also be accommodated. Most placements are for planned long-term care but respite care can sometimes be offered.
With extensive grounds and keypad access to the home, life at Darley Hall is whatever you want it to be.
Darley Hall has been tailored to suit the needs of elderly people with cognitive or physical impairments, allowing them to maintain an excellent quality of life as well as maintain their independence as much as possible in a safe environment.
The wildlife surrounding Darley Hall also makes it ideal for those fond of the outdoors or nature. The Home features two duck ponds, home to our domesticated ducks which provide enriching activities through caring for them and their ducklings in the spring.
The home includes a visitor’s car park as well as many shared social spaces ideal for family visits come rain or shine.
